Football Association chairman Greg Dyke describes remarks made by Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore as "totally inappropriate".
Scudamore has apologised for his part in sexist emails, which were sent privately to a lawyer friend but were published in a Sunday newspaper.
Dyke's comments, which have been seen by the Press Association, are in a response to FA Inclusion Advisory Board member Edward Lord, which has been copied to acting Premier League chairman Peter McCormick.
